This will be explained to you in person as well as in a fully detailed written report. HOME BUYER REPORT + INDV. RECORDINGS
We can also send you the recordings taken for each pipe surveyed. This along with the home buyer report costs £240 which is up to 5 pipes surveyed. If your drain report has more than 5 pipes then each additional recording (to the already included 5) will cost £12 to sent you. For example, if you had 10 pipes surveyed and require each pipe recording then this will cost £440...
What are the surveys used for?
The london drainage network is mostly victorian which due to age and design can cause a number of issues that need a closer inspection. Whilst commercial drains in London are usually more modern than in our housing stock there can still be a number of problems you wouldn’t know about without surveying. These can include broken or collapsed pipes, blockages, fat or silt deposits and cracks.
Our surveys can be used to:
- Determine the location/design of your drainage system
- Assess the condition of the system with recommendations for improvement.
- Find bowed, collapsed or cracked pipes
- Find obstructions and blockages
How We Work
After arranging the appointment we will discuss with you or your surveyor, the requirements for the survey. We can tailor make the survey to suit the problem or requirement you have.
When we turn up at your property we will get straight to work in mapping your drainage system, inspecting every pipe and drain. We always double check each and every part of your system to ensure we don’t miss even the smallest of cracks. We will take notes before presenting to you our findings on it’s condition and make you aware of any potential problems such as cracks, tree roots or drain collapses.
We will then provide you with a written or DVD report as proof of our findings. This drain survey reports will be compiled to industry standards and sent to you within 3-5 days of completing the survey.
Our Equipment
We have handheld and portable units capable of surveying up to 70m of drains in one go with pipe diameters ranging up to 250mm.
Payment Methods
If the blockage is still too stubborn for either the manual or mechanical methods we will not charge you for either service. Instead we will undertake a more detailed analysis of your drainage system to find out what is causing the problem. For more information please see our Repairs Page.
We accept all major Debit & Credit Cards via our Card Terminal either from the engineer on site or over the phone with our office on 0203 603 6012.
We accept payment via Bank Transfer which must be made within 48 hours of completion of a job.
We also accept cheques and cash if the invoice total is below £350 unless authorised by our office.
Our payment terms are flexible and can be negotiated with our commercial clients. Unless agreed or stated our standard payment terms are 30 days.
