Case Study: Inspection Chamber Installation in London
Here we installed a manhole over an existing drain pipe to allow the pipe to be lined in its entirety back under the house.
It is not uncommon to find a domestic property without a manhole. If this is the case as in the photo, it can be very difficult to jet the drain pipes beneath the ground. We can dig down to reveal your drain pipe and install an inspection chamber over it to provide appropriate access for maintenance.
Our engineers are experienced in moving inspection chambers. For example, we have re-positioned many chambers where a client wants to build an extension over an existing chamber and they require the existing chamber to moved outside of the extension boundary to prevent it from being inside the building.
We install inspection chambers for new development sites (externally and in underground car parks), put togetherdrain plans/ layout and install new drain pipes.

If you have a cracked manhole cover and you are trying to marry up a new cover to an existing manhole rim then you may find this an impossible task. You will probably find that the new cover just doesn’t sit properly meaning that it is vulnerable to cracking and causes danger to vehicles and the public. A new manhole cover may well be advertised as the same dimensions (width/length) however, different manhole cover materials will give very different dimensions especially when considering manhole cover depths.
