Drain Relining process
Re-lining is a relatively quick process where resin is applied to a material, which is then dragged or blown inside of the pipe covering all of the faulty area. A balloon is then sent inside of the material, which expands the material to the shape of the pipe. The resin is given time to cure and then the balloon is deflated and pulled back out of the pipe leaving the liner hardened against the pipe wall.
Why would i need to re-line my pipes?
There are several situations where an underground drain-pipe may need relining. We find that the most common reason for pipe re-lining is due to old underground clay drainage pipes cracking as a result of movement under the ground. Drain re-lining may be the only option if there is a faulty drain-pipe which runs directly under a building. The building cannot be dug up so a liner would be sent inside the faulty drain-pipe from one side of the property to the other underneath the building therefore saving the digging costs and not to mention the time.
